Watch: The Hispanic Technology Incubator Recap

We celebrated the hard work of the first Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce x 1871 Hispanic Tech Cohort. Right before the event kicked off we rolled a video that shed light on how the program impacted each member. Food and drink were provided by Felix's Famous Cookies, Amanecer Breakfast Tacos, Atzimba - Catering & Event Services and Dulcelandia/Yogolandia Sweet & Savory. All Hispanic owned businesses.

MC'd by none other than cohort member Victoria Elena Nones of Satira, the evening began with remarks from IHCC President & CEO Omar Duque, Cohort Director Manny Ozaeta, 1871 CEO Howard Tullman, COO Tom Alexander and PNC Representative Gill Gomez.

After remarks, keynote speaker Georgio Burciaga gave a rousing speech that spoke to the necessity of finding one's purpose and how doing so will help drive their will to succeed.

The cohort members, which consisted of Paladin, Tandlr, Collaborate.Biz, Tripmate, Satira, Licentiam, Fluxee, EngineeringPeople, Brand House and Pyro Web, each had three minutes to introduce themselves and their business. With the clock ticking, their poise and determination drove them through successful pitching.

A humbling evening, at its conclusion the cohort members thanked the attendees for an amazing turn out. Without title sponsor PNC, and the help of Chase, Wintrust and MillerCoors the evening wouldn't have been possible.
